    Escape to your Africa... every day after work!  With our reed panel roofing, you can create a unique look inspired by the reed roofing as seen in some small African villages.   

    There are a few options when working with our reed roofing.  First, you can simply buy the panels and apply them to your own creation.  Second, you can purchase an umbrella kit, which includes all materials necessary, precut, to create this tropical ambiance.  You can assemble it, or we can.  Third, you can give us a vision, and we will do all the engineering involved to make it come to life.  Yup, that's right, we will engineer and build a custom construction using reed roofing.  All you have to do is enjoy it afterwards (and pay the bill, of course!). 

    Keep in mind:  this roofing is not 100% rainproof.  The panels cannot be placed upon a solid surface; rain needs to drain out of it to prevent rotting. 

Fire-retardant is an option.

Reed Panels

    Each panel is approximately 31" wide by 17" tall, covering approximately 3.6 square feet.  Panels come assembled and ready for installation. 

    When determining how much panel to buy, determine first how many rows you will need.  The panels are slightly overlapped like shingles (we suggest 5" overlap), and when overlapped, the panels cover about 2.5 square feet each. 

    For increased longevity, pitch should be a minimum of 30 degrees.  

Reed Panel Kits

    Our kits include everything but the tools.  Plus, we include easy-to-understand instructions complete with helpful pictures.  We suggest the pole(s) be dug a minimum of 48" into the ground and reinforced with concrete.
