PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Concrete Primer Unipas
is a formulation of 25%
modified Poly-Styrene
copolymers in a water borne package. Concrete Primer Unipas is a clear
primer
that will not yellow in exposure to UV light. It forms a membrane that
is tenacious in its
bonding to concrete
and masonry type surfaces. This high solids formula combines
properties of
adhesion, and an excellent coefficient of friction to provide a long
lasting
and durable concrete
binder.
PURPOSE:
Concrete Primer Unipas is
designed to bond to the following surfaces and/or materials:

Exposed Aggregate
• Masonry
• Block
•
Stucco
• Cast In Place Concrete
•
Precast and Prestressed Concrete
• Limestone and
Sandstone
• Many types of architectural concrete
(Integral, Color Hardened, Chemically Stained

APPLICATION
INSTRUCTIONS: Surface
to be applied must be clean and free of
any material that
would inhibit the bonding of the material to be applied. If the
substrate
is wet from rain or from the surface cleaning, wait
a minimum of 24 hours to allow the
surface to completely dry
before applying, as trapped water will cause a blushing affect
to
the surface. Repair and point all defects. Protect and avoid spraying
on surfaces other
than the intended surfaces.
Apply Concrete Primer Unipas
with a lambs wool applicator, brush or a good quality pump up sprayer.
Start
each area at the top edge and proceed down to the base without
interruption to
prevent streaking. Hold sprayer nozzle
perpendicular to the surface and overlap each
coat. In order
to reduce loss of material to the atmosphere, avoid back spray and too
fine
a mist from sprayer. Coverage will depend on the density
and texture of the surface to be
applied. (Note: Concrete Primer Unipas
will not harm glass or metal, and is compatible with most caulking
compounds.

COVERAGE RATE:

Exposed Aggregate – 200-300 sq.ft. /gallon
•
Brick – 200-300 sq.ft. /gallon
• Stucco
– 150-200 sq.ft. / gallon
• Precast
Concrete – 200-250 sq.ft. / gallon

Limestone / Sandstone -150- 250 sq.ft. / gallon
•
Concrete block – 50-100 sq.ft. / gallon
DRYING
TIME:
Approximately
2 hours at an ambient temperature of 70 degrees farenheit.
PACKAGING:
Containers
of Concrete Primer Unipas
comes in only five gallon units.
CLEAN-UP:
For tools and
equipment, use potable water
LIMITATIONS:
If
inclement weather is eminent, wait a minimum of 24 hours after rain
before
application. Do Not apply at temperatures below 50
degrees farenheit or when the
average daily temperature is
below 60 degrees. Shelf life of this product is approximately
six
months from the date of purchase.
FIRST AID:
Eyes
– Do Not rub eyes. Immediately flush thoroughly with water.
Skin
– Wash thoroughly with soap and water. Remove affected
clothing from the
body.
Inhalation – Move
to fresh air right away. If symptoms persist or develop, or if
ingested,
get medical attention without delay.
