Description
/ Purpose
Control It II has been designed as a containment product for the ever
present problem of efflorescence. Unlike so many other compounds which
boasts about their ability to stop efflorescence, Control It II accepts
the fact that efflorescence will happen. Control It II will control
efflorescence in the matrix of the concrete and will cease
it’s migration to the surface of the cementitious product.

• Will increase compression strengths at all stages of the
hydration process
• Insure the hydration process occurs within the matrix of the
product
• Greatly reduces the need for controlled environment curing
• Will eliminate the water migration from the substrate to the
surface
• Will not allow water vapor drive from the surface to the
concrete matrix
• All moisture will remain encapsulated within the matrix to
ensure complete
hydration
Dosage Rate:
The dosage rate of Control It II is based on a certain percentage of
the product by weight of Portland cement. The following are suggested
ratios for the
desired results:
• 5% will reduce efflorescence slightly
• 10% will reduce efflorescence to an almost invisible state
• 15% has the maximum affect
• The use of more product beyond 15% will not have a positive
effect.

The packaging of this product is in water soluble bags that will
compensate the
mix designs for customers such as Block Plants, Pre-Casters, Ready- Mix
producers, or any user of Portland based cement products.
